The slurry water of a sand washing plant is a suspension liquid containing a certain amount of fine mud particles in water. The characteristics of the slurry depend on its composition and local geological conditions. The general characteristics of the slurry are that the appearance of the slurry is yellowish, uniform and viscous, and the slurry is stationary for a long time without stratification, and its specific gravity is between 1.20 and 1.46 (of which, the specific gravity of yellow sand is 1.6); the slurry content is 20%-30%, and the PH value is between 6 and 7. These muds come from building piling, sand field, tunnel cave, mine tailings and so on.
At present, the technological process of sand machine-made sand is to break river sand or ore by crushing machine, wash sand and stone through sand washing equipment, and get fine sand with less mud content. This process produces a large amount of sewage. The main pollutant is sediment, in which sludge is suspended in water, which is difficult to settle, and directly discharged to the water body. At present, the sediment tank method used in the industry covers a large area, takes a long time to process, is not easy to extract sediment, and the tank truck transportation method is expensive, which can not fundamentally solve the problem.
In recent years, collecting sedimentation tank, secondary sedimentation tank, clear liquid tank, mud and sand separation system, dosing system, drainage system and slag discharge system are mostly used.
Working principle: mud water is collected by pipeline and flowed into sedimentation tank, and pretreated by mud dehydrator to remove most fine sand and part of mud in mud water. The filtrate enters secondary sedimentation tank through drainage system. The slurry water in the secondary clarifier is suspended slurry, which has little difference in proportion to water. Flocculant must be added to treat the slurry water. After the slurry water is treated by a dewaterer, the removal rate of mud and sand is more than 95%. The water in the clarifier can be directly returned to the sand washing system to achieve zero discharge.
